As a management consultancy agency for Real Estate and Facility management, Hospitality Group frequently handles confidential information (personal data) and the processing thereof. Any information that you provide us with will solely be used in adherence to our privacy policy, which has been drawn up in accordance with current privacy legislation. Hospitality Group thereby only collects personal data that is voluntarily provided to us. The main purpose of the collection of data is to enable us to provide our services as effectively as possible and to allow for the targeted provision of information, including marketing purposes. This Privacy Statement is intended to inform you of the manner in which we collect, use, store and protect personal data.


1. Collection and use of personal data

Hospitality Group solely collects personal data that you have agreed to share with us. The provided data will not be used for purposes other than those for which you have made them available, unless we have obtained your explicit consent to do so. You will always be notified if any additional information were to be collected.

Hospitality Group does not collect sensitive personal data (such as data related to race, political affiliation, religion, beliefs, sexual preferences or health) unless the law obliges us to do so.

Automatic collection of personal data

Hospitality Group uses cookies for functional and technical management. “Cookies” are small text files left behind in the internet browser by the website you have visited, on the device used to visit the website. Cookies provide information on for example which websites you have visited and which data you have entered. The website owner can use this information once you revisit the respective website. In addition, Hospitality Group uses web statistics to chart, for example, the number of visitors on our website. 2. Purpose of collecting your personal data

We collect and process your data in order to perform our services for consultancy, project guidance, training & development and recruitment purposes.

This allows us to provide you with information about our services and to tailor this information to your specific needs. The provision of information may consist of sending newsletters and, for example, invitations to information meetings that may be of interest to you, but only if you have given consent (opt-in). Hospitality Group processes personal data of people working for companies with whom we maintain a business relationship, in order to perform our services and/or to provide information about our services and our other activities. Furthermore, we process personal data in order to maintain business relationships and to enter into and maintain contractual agreements for our services. Regarding these activities we collect the names, contact information, and positions of contact persons.

For our interim and recruitment services, your personal data will be used to assess your suitability and availability in relation to us arranging a fixed or temporary employment relationship. This may include (insights into) test results, reference checks, and social media. Occasionally it may be necessary to collect and process personal data for the mediation and confirmation of an employment relationship between a client and a candidate (e.g. pre-employment screening). Finally, registration and processing of data is necessary to comply with laws and regulations (including employment law, tax law and social legislation).


3. Sharing and transfer of personal data

Hospitality Group does not share personal data with third parties, except when necessary in order to comply with your request, for our professional and legitimate purposes, or if required or permitted by law, professional standards, or quality standards. In such a situation personal data will be shared based on a legitimate interest, a statutory obligation and/or for implementing the agreement in accordance with the objectives referred to in paragraph 2.

Additionally, Hospitality Group may share personal data with external organisations abroad that cooperate with us in performing our services. Any transfer of personal data abroad by Hospitality Group complies with Dutch privacy legislation.

Under no circumstances will Hospitality Group transfer your personal data to third parties for their direct marketing purposes.


4. Retention of personal data

Hospitality Group will not store personal data for a longer period of time as is necessary for the purposes mentioned above. In some cases however, personal – anonymised – data may be kept for a longer period of time, for instance for statistical purposes.


5. Freedom of choice

In general, you are not obliged to provide personal data. However, Hospitality Group may ask you to provide certain personal data in order for us to provide the requested service, and to provide you with (additional) information about our services, events and information meetings organised by us.

If you opt in for a specific service or form of communication, such as a newsletter, you will also be able to unsubscribe from this service or form of communication by following the instructions provided in the respective form of communication.

If you decide to opt out of a service or form of communication, we will attempt to remove your data as soon as possible, but we may require additional information before we can process your request.


6. Security and data integrity

Hospitality Group has taken physical, administrative, organisational and technical measures and uses established procedures to optimally protect your personal data from unauthorised use, misuse, loss, destruction and alteration. If and insofar data is provided to data processors who provide services or carry out assignments on our behalf, we will have reached an agreement with them to ensure that they secure your personal data to the same extent. However, despite these efforts, we cannot fully guarantee the integrity of the data against all threats.

We will make every effort to strictly limit access to your personal data to those who provide services on behalf of Hospitality Group, and to those who are otherwise entitled according to privacy legislation. The people within our organisation who have access to personal data are obliged to maintain confidentiality. Hospitality Group is committed to ensuring that your personal data is kept only for as long as it is necessary to provide services to you, as it is lawfully permitted or until you file a request for the removal of your personal data.

8. Children

Our sites and services are not intended for, or aimed at children under the age of 16 years. It is our policy to never knowingly collect or store information of persons under the age of 16.

Hospitality Group may modify this Privacy Statement for a variety of reasons.
