Development and realisation of Food Court at VU University

VU University asked Hospitality Group to develop a new catering & retail concept for its campus. A concept that is in keeping with the university’s ambitions and local building developments.  Important spearheads are to create an attractive studying and working environment, sustainability, internationalization and the contribution to the university’s image. Following this assignment, Hospitality Group transformed the existing, traditional restaurant into a contemporary Food Court.

For the development of the Food Court, the emphasis was on offering more variety and enhancing the quality, service, perception of freshness, and how the surroundings are experienced. An increase in sales was also an important objective. Hospitality Group developed the concept, translated this into a functional and interior design and supervised the realisation.
