Hospitality Group collaborated with Antea Group to develop the catering facilities concept for the new quarters of the Ministry of Public Health, Welfare and Sports. The Ministry moved into an existing building with a traditional company restaurant. The wishes of client and staff were vital in the development. Some important starting points were:
- Experiencing professional catering services
- Surprising the guests
- Focus on health and vitality
- Multifunctional use
- Increase in the number of users
Hospitality Group developed the concept and made the functional and logistics design. Architect Hofman Dujardin used this input for the realisation of the interior. Characteristic for the new concept are the use of fresh and organic products, a strong product presentation and food preparation within view of guests. To illustrate, a large part of the ‘new’ kitchen is integrated with the service area, whereas the ‘old’ kitchen is being used for preparation and banqueting.
