Hosting 60 clubs, community center De Borgh in Budel is the vibrant center of the community, but it was in need of a future-proof renovation. Earlier studies and plans had addressed spatial and functional requirements and building and operating costs, but a coherent vision lacked. The board asked Hospitality Group to contribute ideas.
The team is full of energy again!
Hospitality Group made a guest journey. It developed this method to provide more insight into the needs, expectations and requirements of every type of user/visitor. Taking the desired customer experience and hospitality as a basis, Hospitality Group developed an integrated and broadly supported vision and concept.
Roel Velstra, interim project manager at the municipality of Cranendonck, looks back: “We didn’t talk about square metres and technical requirements, but about hospitality and the experience that we want to offer our patrons and customers. Thanks to this approach, the team is full of energy again. The end result is a hospitality vision & concept for de Borgh that everybody is comfortable with. Even the architect really benefited, because he immediately knew what the building was supposed to do.”
