Innovam is a training institute for the mobility sector and provides advice and training courses in the field of (company) car and bicycle technology, (after)sales, management and HRM. Innovam’s Special Accounts department helps employers in the mobility sector with a wide range of products and services (e.g. individual coaching, workshops and leadership training) for talent development, team development, sustainable employability, professional skills and hospitality.
In early September 2018, Innovam asked Hospitality Group to contribute ideas regarding the deployment of an interim project leader for the Special Accounts department. Together with the team, Martijn Harleman of Hospitality Group started developing, implementing, warranting and coordinating team & talent development programmes for the mobility sector.
Martijn organised the process in a manageable and efficient way. It’s great that he clearly set the outlines of the project. He also ensured a structured transfer so that his successor could quickly familiarise himself with the process.Noor de Beer – Sr Consultant at Innovam
The first challenge was to continue a complex team development programme within a short period of time, with the aim of achieving the targets for 2018. Martijn was then asked to develop and set up the new programme offer for 2019. Innovam’s programme offer for entrepreneurs consists of workshops, coaching and intervision, with hospitality and team & talent development as central themes. In the different programme components entrepreneurs learn about attractive employment practices and successful entrepreneurship. During the development of the new programme offer, Martijn was also responsible for operational implementation, optimisation of processes, and for improving the overall collaboration between stakeholders.
The right person at the right time
Josiane Meers, Special Projects & Research Manager and OOMT Account Manager at Innovam, described Martijn’s interim period as: ‘The right person, at the right time, in the right place. He was able to quickly achieve results by quickly adapting to new requirements, setting priorities and creating an environment in which collaborating and knowledge sharing are central. A worthy discussion partner who, by quickly mastering the subject matter, has become partly responsible for the 2019 programme offer that we developed. Martijn is a strong project leader with a good grasp of the content, and his pleasant personality and way of communicating make him an asset to any team!
