ProRail’s Procurement Department is developing across the board. Its ambition is to shift its focus from only executing tenders for rail and station projects to becoming a professional and proactive procurement department for the entire organization. For the segment of Engineering and Operational Management ProRail was looking for a new junior tender manager. ProRail asked Hospitality Group to advise on suitable candidates and the recruitment procedure. After exploring a number of possible solutions together, the choice was made for secondment with the option of hiring.
Kim Prozée, a young professional at Hospitality Group, started as a junior tender manager and fulfilled her role energetically. She supervised a tender for National Neighbours’ Day and initiated several improvement projects. Kim also analysed the internal tender intake process for optimization purposes and contributed ideas for translating ProRail’s Market Vision into practical tender processes. After this successful interim period Kim was pleased to enter into ProRail’s service, and she will continue to work in her role over the coming period.
