BESTSELLER is a Danish family-owned company and the parent company of more than 14 well-known clothing brands worldwide, including Only, Vero Moda and Jack&Jones. Its e-commerce headquarters are located in Amsterdam, where around 200 employees are responsible for all aspects of online sales.
For its new head office, BESTSELLER e-commerce was looking for a temporary Office & Facility Manager to manage all processes related to the construction and renovation. Olivier Boelens, Interim Manager at Hospitality Group, fulfilled this role with enthusiasm. Olivier was responsible for the daily management of the facility and project teams. He contributed ideas for the design of the facilities organisation and facility services at this new site. The challenge was to create a new office environment (5000 m2) at a prominent location in Amsterdam and to move 200 employees to the new premises in a short period of time.
Having made a successful contribution, Olivier was asked to stay on after he had onboarded the new Office & Facility Manager. In his new role as Project Facility Manager he was the linking pin between various parties, such as the building owner, the principal and project management. He was also responsible for coordinating the finishing stage of the construction and for attuning the design with architects, suppliers and the principal.
BESTSELLER describes Olivier as a person who is not deterred by difficulties and who has achieved many concrete results.
