In 2014 Hospitality Group supervised the tender process for the catering and retail facilities of the Deaconesses´ Hospital in Voorburg and the new Reinier de Graaf Hospital in Delft. In Delft catering and retail comprises a staff restaurant, a visitors´ restaurant with service at the tables, an espresso bar and a shop. In Voorburg the tender concerned the operation of the staff restaurant and an espresso bar with shop.
An important ambition of Reinier de Graaf was the realisation of hospitable and creative catering and retail facilities. The visitors´ restaurant and the espresso bar play an important role in the reception of visitors and patients and stimulating interaction and informal contact in the organization. In addition, Reinier de Graaf wanted to contract a service provider that would take overall responsibility for catering, retail and vending.
All catering and retail facilities were tendered on the basis of a concession fee contract, and the staff restaurant on the basis of a fixed contract price. Five parties were invited to submit a tender. After the contract was awarded in 2015, the selected operator and the client together invited parties to tender for the provision of approx. 80 hot-drinks machines in the Delft and Voorburg locations. The contract start coincided with the opening of the new hospital in Delft.
Between 2010 and 2014 Hospitality Group and the Reinier de Graaf Group together also developed the food & hospitality concept for the new hospital.
