Global FM & Real Estate Summit 2025

May 15th, together with Sodexo, CBRE and EDGE, we organized the 4th edition of the Global RE & FM. The historic Jimmy Nelson Studio in Amsterdam transformed into a vibrant hub of thought leadership, creative energy, and human connection. With over 65 participants from leading organizations across Europe, the Global FM & Real Estate Summit 2025 brought together workplace & real estate executives to explore the future of work and the spaces that shape it.

Dynamic programm

The day was hosted by Sandy Brouwer and Cees van der Spek, who guided the audience through a dynamic program blending vision, research, and best-practices.

  • Carl Rohde set the tone by exploring the intersecting futures of AI, work, and office culture, highlighting the strategic imperatives for organizations navigating uncertainty.
  • Kay Sargent (HOK) shared insights from her newly released book on designing neuroinclusive workplaces, calling for environments that respect sensory and cognitive diversity “not as a competitive advantage, but as a moral obligation.”
  • Hans Reineke (Hollandse Nieuwe) dissected the paradox of underutilized offices, urging for integrated workplace strategies that balance sustainability, technology, and human needs.
  • Jahkini Bisselink, representing Gen Z, challenged leaders to create workplaces that resonate with authenticity, entrepreneurial freedom, and mental well-being. Reminding us that inclusion is no longer optional.
  • Eva Hermans (DNB) offered a behind-the-scenes look at the monumental renovation of the Dutch Central Bank’s HQ: an architectural and cultural reimagining of what a public workplace can be.
  • Jérémie Papon-Jousset (BNP Paribas Real Estate) revealed how flexible, purpose-driven real estate strategies are reshaping European office landscape.
  • Remy Middelhoff (&samhoud) showcased how AI implementation and behavior-driven change enabled his firm to shift to a four-day work week without sacrificing performance.

Keynote by Jimmy Nelson

The day concluded with a deeply personal and visually stunning keynote by Jimmy Nelson, reminding us of the emotional and cultural richness of human connection at work and beyond.

Between sessions, participants engaged in facilitated discussions, swapped insights across rotating table groups, and shared meals and ideas in a uniquely setting.

We are incredibly thankful to all speakers, partners, and participants who helped make this edition so meaningful.
